SNESdrunk is keeping their videos free regardless of whether anyone donates because they have been posting two videos a week since 2013, and like doing this. They have had a few people ask them about a Patreon, and since Youtube is discontinuing fan funding, they decided to set this up. The problem is they don’t have much to offer in terms of rewards. They usually plan 2-3 weeks ahead, but if you sign up for $5, you can make a request. They haven’t really thought this through so they’re not sure if that means it would be 1 request per month or what, but uh, you can get at least one request, and they’ll make sure they’ll do a video on that game, provided it’s something they have the means to play and capture footage. (For example, they wouldn’t be able to do a Super Scope video because they don’t have one and they don’t own a TV it would work on, 5th generation stuff like PlayStation and Saturn can be difficult, modern games are near impossible for them to get footage for if it’s not at least on Steam, etc.) They would also get access to the SNESdrunk Patreon Discord chat. If you want to donate $1, that would grant you early access to videos and podcasts before their official scheduled posting date.
