So Dead is Jenn Carpenter, host of So Dead, lifelong Michigan native and all around creepy chick.Jenn founded Demented Mitten Tours, a true crime/paranormal touring company in Mid-Michigan in 2016. Jenn became obsessed with sharing the legends and lore of the area they grew up in with ever-growing crowds of people. It’s their favorite thing. In 2018, Jenn put many of those stories to paper and published the best-selling book Haunted Lansing. They’ve always been a writer, and being picked up by a worldwide publishing company was a lifelong dream. In 2019, Jenn overcame the hurdle of hating the sound of their own voice and expanded their storytelling to the podcasting world. So Dead features unique tales of true crime, the paranormal, urban legends, and more- all about Michigan.
