South Florida the Way We Remember It is a Facebook page dedicated to local memories of how things once were in South Florida. Started over 7 years ago, the purpose of the page is to allow members to post their vintage photos and memories of life in the area in order to build a greater database and depositary of our local history for generations to come. This purpose is free of the distractions of political and other ‘agenda’ based posts. Started over 7 years ago, “South Florida the Way We Remember It” is a Facebook page dedicated to local memories of how things once were in South Florida. Members are encouraged to post their vintage photos and memories of life in the area in order to build a greater database and depositary of our local history for generations to come. Over the last 7 years, the Facebook page has built a strong following, with members from all over the world. However, in order to maintain and grow, the page needs a bit of assistance. The funds will be used to provide photography services for the page, Facebook event services and ad packages, as well as storage costs for the images. This allows us to continue to provide the best history page we can, free of the distractions of political and other ‘agenda’ based posts. Without your support, this is simply not possible.
