Stephanie Moss is a medical student studying in Chicago. This past year Stephanie decided to focus on their mental health and take a leave of absence from medical school for the next 10 months. In the mean time, they’re pursuing their side passions of dance, trauma therapy education, and writing. Throughout their life, dance and martial arts have always helped them when they can no longer take the stress and adversities in their life. Moving their body has helped them open up their soul in a way nothing else ever has. They want to bring this experience to others no matter if they are similarly in the medical profession, dealing with the struggles of a mental and physical illness, or healing from trauma. Additionally, they’re taking the time to write their book on their journey in exploring their past on childhood and racial trauma, a medical diagnosis of endometriosis, and struggling with generalized anxiety. They’re also completing a certification in Somatic Movement Trauma Therapy which they’re incorporating into their videos and writings. Once they have completed writing all the chapters, their goal is to submit them to a publisher to publish the book.
