Strong Language & Violent Scenes Podcast is a genre film podcast hosted by writer/composer Mitch Bain and filmmaker Andy Stewart. With a minisode every Monday and a main episode on Fridays, the show casts an irreverent eye over (mostly) maligned genre films that may or may not deserve a second look. Each week, the guys are joined by a guest who brings a film of their choice that they love despite critical and commercial response to the contrary. Whether undervalued or underseen, good or bad, together they break down every film and assess whether there is a case for a new appraisal. In the 2+ years the show has existed, a devoted and engaged fanbase has grown alongside it, and after more than 200 broadcasts, it’s time to develop that community in a serious way.
