Studio Foglio is creating a web comic page three times a week for free reading. The entire work back to the beginning is available on the same site, all for free. The kickstarters help them to get the comics printed into books, and to create patches, medals and other fun items. Unfortunately, when they make these items, all that money is replaced by books, medals and so forth. A pledge from their readers would help with the regular costs of creating the initial pages before they become printed books.
