Style is Substance is producing film reviews, analysis videos, and on occasion, amateur short films. The main goal behind the channel is to educate viewers on classic, obscure, and underrated films and challenge their ways of thinking about and appreciating cinema. They hope to provide viewers with the best engagement and experience while maintaining their personal vision for their channel, which includes speaking about controversial and sensitive subject matter. The chances of having their channel monetized by YouTube are becoming slim and to compensate for this they’re turning to Patreon. At this point of time, their channel is quite new and obscure. As a result, the perks of being a patron are currently limited to being created and verbally mentioned at the end of their videos, as well as simply showing support for the future of this channel. As they grow, so too will their Patreon.
