Tailsteak is an artist, writer, cartoonist, and game designer. Their main project is a webcomic called Forward which is a story that takes place in the future, but it’s not a typical sci-fi – it’s a slice-of-life comedy. They want to use Forward to explore ideas about society, psychology, relationships, sexuality, economics, and identity in an effectively post-scarcity world. They’ve written a novel called Bang and five motivational books called The Paladin’s Guide to Life, The Rogue’s Guide to Life, The Barbarian’s Guide to Life, The Necromancer’s Guide to Life, and The Bard’s Guide to Life (all of which are available as free PDFs to all patrons). They do plenty of other art and writing, as well. They completed a present-day slice-of-life comic called Leftover Soup that ran for 1000 entries (plus 30 epilogue pages) from 2010-2017.
