Tanya Smith is Tanya here. Their mission has always been to make HEMA more diverse and accessible, but they need some help reaching these goals. They have some great ideas on how they can build great things together and how they can give back to the community at large. In 2020, they’d hope to travel to more events to teach and share resources to help people build up strong, supportive communities in their local clubs. They already have an invite or two, but some of these are international events. Which is great and exciting, but is quite a challenge for someone who is a case worker by day. They’re really excited to work with more people and share the strategies that they’ve learned as a fencer and as a club leader.
