The Bardic Inspiration is Garrett Rose. They’re a freelance composer who studied how to write and produce music for contemporary and “new media” (TV, podcasts, etc.). They graduated and worked at a recording studio for some time, did some commercial scoring, and did some jingle writing. The reason they went to college for music was so that they could be working in a field that was completely rewarding to them. In the end, getting boxed in with how jingle clients wanted their music to sound was not as rewarding as they could’ve hoped. They still do commercial writing now, but they’re looking to focus more on their preferred creative outlets, which are the band they’re in, and any type of character (or non-commercial) scoring.
