The Digression Podcast Guys are a US Air Force Chief and First Sergeant who like to drink Scotch and tell war stories. Their storytelling is humorous (at least to them), irreverent, (to most people), and as Patton would say, colored with the “language of the barracks” (some might find their language offensive). Their discussions cover interesting or unusual topics related to military history and folklore, and they digress–A LOT! Other than digression, their podcast has no underlying theme, though their stories will often have a military slant. One month they may be talking about Rommels colossal failure at Alam El Halfa and the next month they might be talking about bunny rabbits (hell, they might be talking about both in the same podcast). In the end, they stand for nothing and sometimes they cant even stand. So, if you like sitting around the grill on a summer evening, drinking beer, and talking sh*t, then The Digression Podcast is for you. In fact, you’re guaranteed to increase your listening pleasure with a drink in hand (but don’t drink and drive). The Digression Podcast is produced in Jacksonville, Florida, and Warrenton, Virginia, by The Digression Podcast Guys, (Chief) Jody Hanks and (First Sergeant) Chris Rash. As retired Air Force Vets, both Jody and Chris enjoy an esprit de corps they hope to share with you.
