The Hand That Feeds HQ specializes in covering male seiyuu (Japanese voice actors) and 2D projects music. And is completely independent. Sharing content on music performed by Japanese voice actors has been an objective for them since 2010. They wanted – still want – more people outside of Japan to see and hear how otherworldly good Japanese voice actors are. They not only do voice acting but most of them are awesome singers, songwriters and performers as well! And that passion led to them – someone with experience in music composition and, back in 2010, with a new passion for Japanese voice actors – to create The Hand That Feeds HQ, website in which they started sharing news and reviews of music performed by male seiyuu and 2D groups. The Hand That Feeds HQ had a team from 2014 – May 2019 but since June 2019 it has reverted to being a solo labor of love for them, Vanessa Silva, website’s founder and the one behind all content on the website, podcast, social media and YouTube channel!
