The Oddcast is a podcast that explores tales of the occult, weird, and arcane. As a child, the creator spent time in the darkness overwhelmed with anxiety as their imagination sprawled out, creating horrible realities, each encroaching on their simple existence with intent to devour. As they grew up, that anxiety and misguided imagination turned to curiosity. That curiosity eventually turned into an impetus to create; those creations eventually transformed into a means to inspire and entertain others in the form of the podcast. As a sound designer and composer, the creator has always felt themselves drawn to the more macabre aspects of art, music, theatre, film, and expression, though they have never been able to put it into words. The creator created the podcast as both an homage to weird/horror/science fiction as well as to help others appreciate the madness and twisted nature of their own minds as well as the masters of dark literature.
