The Sinister Man is a mysterious recluse residing in a small town in the Southeastern United States, one that is known for its literary history and vaguely Gothic ambience. He likes to scare people. Less theatrically … He’s been dabbling in horror and fantasy writing for many years (mainly writing for horror-themed tabletop RPGs), but he decided to the plunge into writing for a Patreon audience due to the of all things a fanfiction called Harry Potter and the Prince of Slytherin. In 2015, he started writing for what is affectionately known as the POSverse as a form of self-directed therapy after an lengthy bout of underemployment left him with too much free time and way too much anxiety. Imagine his surprise when it grew to over 100 chapters, nearly 680,000 words, and over 9000 followers. Apparently, someone likes his writing, and so, here they are. While he plans to continue POS to completion on Fanfiction.Net, for Patreon supporters, he’ll be working on original fiction that will focus on horror, fantasy (mainly urban fantasy), and science fiction. His immediate project is Strangers In Boston, a novel he started many years back but set aside until now. He thinks it can best be described as American Harry Potter. If Harry was seventeen when he discovered magic. And there were no wands or schools or hidden magical communities where everyone wears pointy hats. Oh, and if you use magic improperly, it can drive you insane or unleash eldritch horrors or both. He also plans to return to a novella he also started and then set aside. Truckin Down the Cosmic Freeway is the story of the lone pilot/passenger of a mostly automated interstellar cargo ship who may be having a nervous breakdown from extreme loneliness. Or else something worse is happening to him. And after that? He’s still contemplating. Probably something to do with werewolves. Or not. They’ll see what the fans want.
