thefunky14 is Jules, who’s been on Instagram showcasing shiny fashion in the form of latex, leather and vinyl. People (mostly guys) ask if it’s a sexual thing and to be honest, no, no it’s not. They think it looks great, feels great and it offers great confidence when wearing it out and about. It does attract attention but never in a negative way, and they think it helps remove sexual taboo. Jules started this journey a couple of years ago as a bit of a social experiment to see if they could reach 1000 followers with this type of content. Surprisingly, within a couple of months they’d reached their target and they were well over 2000 followers, before they knew it they were at 3000 and then a few months later they were at 8000 plus. They started to wonder how many followers they could actually get to. But then they decided to close their account down for a while. A few undesirable people who they know in their real life started commenting behind their back which wasn’t nice and knocked their confidence. However, after thinking long and hard a couple of weeks later they were back! They decided not to let them beat them, thinking they don’t actually care what you think….they have 8000 followers who are behind them, who support them, who want them to succeed. So, they decided to open their account back up but make it private and vet anyone who wants to follow. It halted progress but this allowed them to control who was seeing their content and more importantly kept their loyal followers happy. The reason why they’ve turned to Patreon is that it’s actually hard work to invest time and effort into making their guys happy. The messages, the requests, the outfits, the locations, the travel, the heels, the food and the drink unfortunately costs, and to keep things fresh and interesting they think this is the only way to fund it and to keep the loyal followers happy. I did get some great feedback on content and pricing when they did a quick survey but it will be trial and error as they’re no professional at this. This probably shines through via their photos (no pun intended)….very amateur and very awkward!! ??? But stick with them, and they hope they can give their guys content that their guys can enjoy!!
