therepubliq was founded on September 9, 2009, as an alternative to the traditional gay bar rag and over the past ten years, it has grown into a go-to resource for the LGBTQ+ community in and around Austin and for visitors to the city. Looking forward, they are working to focus more on content creation and expanding how they deliver that content to their audience — livestreaming, podcasts, videos, etc.
