Tideline to Alpine is Amanda, a vanlifer of nearly 8 years living a simple life with their canine companion Frank. Along the way they have been collecting skills and developing a deep appreciation for the natural world and life in the slow lane. From foraging, mechanics and van projects to hiking and climbing they’re keen to learn from their mistakes and share the journey. Growing up on Vancouver Island they fell in love with every environment from the tideline to the alpine and have as much trouble choosing a favourite as they do putting themselves in a creative box. They are a dynamic and ever-changing being who will always tell it like they see it, pursue personal growth and try new things. Since they were a young child they have been practicing the craft of photography and expressing themselves through written word. As a natural born storyteller they have grown particularly fond of videography and are currently pursuing a career as a YouTube creator.
