Trenton Heille

Trenton Heille is a published poet from Minneapolis, Minnesota. They write poems and record poetry readings. They graduated from Calvin College with their B.A. in English literature and philosophy, and it was while enrolled at Calvin that they encountered Maurice Manning’s Bucolics, which inspired them to enroll in their first poetry workshop and publish their first poems in Dialogue Magazine, where they later served as a poetry juror and communications editor. Since graduating, they’ve continued to write poems despite several setbacks including several rounds of applications to MFA programs that resulted in being waitlisted, and they’ve intermittently submitted poems for publication. Their poems have appeared in the Old Northwest Review. They’re starting a Patreon in hopes that their patrons and they can create a new model for financially supporting poets and fostering poetry readership.
