Tyrannosaurus Regs is a fat activist and feminist who is fighting for us all to do better at treating each other well so that we can all be better. They believe in dialog as the way forward and that we learn best when we can talk about concrete and current examples of how, for example, fat phobia looks and operates. They run the kropskrlig podcast, which is free and available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts and Google Podcasts. They talk with different guests about their experiences of existing in the world based on different life viewpoints. Activism is a hard job, and they’re worried that many activists burn out quickly because they have to juggle a job, activism, and the shaming they are subjected to when they choose to talk about inequality in society. This Patreon is a way for them to avoid ending up in this situation by actually making their activism a job that gets a wage. For the less they have to work elsewhere to earn money for their rent, the more activism they can do, and the more free work they can do that helps those who don’t have the means to contribute. They hope you’ll be part of the fight they’d like to undertake for us all.
