Utopia is a growing science fiction magazine dedicated to publishing quality science fiction short stories, science articles, and poetry. Founded July, 2019, they put out a new issue on the 30th of every other month and release a free story and poem every three weeks. Its stories are set in futures we might want to live in. Counter to the recent dystopian craze, they publish stories that shine with a more optimistic future, one they want to believe in, one they would fight for. They look for stories with captivating world-building, character-rich and diverse settings, engaging plots that steer away from common tropes, tension and conflict, a good ending, and stories based in explained science.
