Virand is Italian artist of 22 years old. They have experience of 4 years in Scuola Italiana di Comix. They have won First Prize in Italian “CGIL” contest 2019 and First Prize in “European Storyboards” contest 2020. They qualified (19th/1000) at the “NPE” contest 2020. Their dream is to publish authorial stories, all part of their imaginary macro-world, of which they like to create situations, characters, settings and that they would like someday show through their comic stories. They are very attentive to social issues modern and they firmly believe that art, especially works for children, must have today more than yesterday, a pedagogical and didactic role, to try to make a positive contribution to growth of the kids who benefit from it. Each of their stories has as its principles of writing the message and the presumption of teaching and reflection for those who will read it.
