Wano is Marie Laporte, a 26 year old engineer from France. They started the project in their free time in 2015. They went full-time on the project since 2019 because they really enjoyed working on it and also saw much potential for the future as independent. They always wanted to keep a model where the game making engine was free for non-commercial use. The Patreon is here to complete the Steam revenue from the project.
