Waveshaper TV is Robert Fantinatto and Jason Amm. They’re the same team behind the hugely successful modular synth documentary I Dream Of Wires seen widely on Netflix as well as the forthcoming electronic music docs Electronic Voyager (about Bob Moog) and Subotnick (about Morton Subotnick). They’re passionate about electronic music and have made it their mission to document its story, from its iconic figures, to its lesser-known, yet compelling outsiders. They focus on the craft and artistry of electronic music production, musicianship, and instrument building. They aim to explore electronic music in the broadest sense of the word: from 60s pioneers and 70s prog rockers, through to 80s synthpop, and the explosion of electronic music in all shapes and forms from the 90s until today. What unites all of these subjects is a passion obsession even for the sound of music made with machines.
