Windborne is an independent, people-powered band, relying on the grassroots support of fans, friends, and community, rather than a record label. None of them set out to become a full-time vocal group, but people kept coming to them and saying, “Thank you for your work, this music is what we need right now.” it was this incredible support in 2017 that allowed them to “answer that calling” and make the leap to spreading their music and message as their full-time living. It is the generosity and gratitude of this community that keeps them going on the road, through good times and hard times. As they say in every concert, it’s person-to-person connections that fuel their work; from organizing and hosting concerts, to putting them up in your homes, to helping share their art with your friends and communities.
