Barely Alive is a music duo responsible for some of the hardest, most incendiary drops to rip through speakers in the past 5 years. Hailing from deep in the verdant forests of the American northeast, the only bass they knew about growing up were the ones they caught in the river, and to drop it would mean nothing more than an empty stomach. Despite the allure of this primal lifestyle’s peaceful transcendence, the boys couldn’t be kept from their destiny for long. The world needed their talents. Ableton was calling them. Their formative years were filled with the sounds of Noisia, Skrillex, Kill the Noise, Feed Me; those and other titans of bass music floated through their subconscious as they tirelessly turned each knob and pressed each button in Ableton Live. They didn’t just want to make bass music; they wanted to perfect it, and over the years, as the computer desks turn into turntable decks, everything in their lives has changed but the mission. We come here today on Patreon to humbly offer some of the information for which they have sacrificed so much over the years.
