Black Poly Pride is an entirely new and completely independent event. The 2019 gathering was the inaugural Black Poly Pride conference that was held in Dallas, Texas in July. The purpose of the event was to intentionally take up space, celebrate the attendees’ lovestyle and their Blackness. The community turnout and response to the conference’s intent was unprecedented, and the weekend was transformative and affirming for all who attended. The second annual Black Poly Pride weekend will be held June 4-7, 2020, in Washington, D.C. In an effort to build on the success of #BPP2019, and help provide helpful information for BPP 2020; this Patreon will host exclusive content for polyamorous people. They will delve into high-level polyamorous concepts, both through pre-recorded video, interactive live streams, polyamorous workshops, and exclusive blog content. They will also host exclusive interviews with people in the polyamorous community, and meet-ups around the United States leading up to BPP 2020.
