Bryony Porter is using hand embroidery as a form of digital activism to raise awareness about hidden aspects of the fashion industry, how it exploits people and the planet. They are undertaking a project called Fast Fashion 100 which involves creating 100 embroideries and accompanying articles around all aspects of social and environmental justice in fashion, from activism to plastic to policy and system change. The aim for the end of the project is to exhibit the stitches as a collective artwork.
