Erica Anderson is on a quest to make fine art that moves. They started making GIFs in 2012 as a way to share their scratch-on-film experiments with their friends, but soon began to create them exclusively digitally as a personal challenge. Since 2016, they’ve posted a completely new looping animation every day. Their GIFs are meant to be viewed as moving paintings, and are usually made to be visual representations of whatever music they’re listening to at the time.
