Burton Nitta is seeking support to make visually and conceptually stimulating work that discovers something new about “who we are” and where our evolution might take us next. Some of their previous works have imagined new food systems, extended the possibilities of the human body and they’ve even collaborated with scientists to grow a body-part using tissue engineering. Along the way, they will share their process and discover ways to support a sustainable creative practice that is shared across independent art forms and creative industries.
