Chela Reyna Press

Chela Reyna Press is an international literary organization utilizing the power of storytelling to illuminate global issues and ignite action for sustainable change. Their mission is to transform suppression into expression, sickness into health, hate into hope, and poverty into possibilities. They do this by: 1. Illuminating global issues through submitted writing of every kind (short fiction, essay, poetry, song, novel and script excerpts, etc.) compiled in a bi-monthly literary magazine. 2. Building meaningful connections and inspiring conversations as they find solutions in their monthly Society & Guild member discussions. 3. Creating positive change for the issues addressed with organized volunteer work, partner events, local chapter meetings, and support of their focused cause of the month. They are something like a writers room, a book club, a peace corps, and a publishing house all in one inspiring, connected community. They are here to bring voice to as many different perspectives on as many different causes as possible. This is a unique opportunity for you as a writer to launch yourself and have your work published continuously, build a following on a global scale, and receive live feedback from international readers. Readers get a chance to meet new, talented writers, as well as experience their behind-the-scenes process. All membership contributions go directly toward the editing & publication of the magazine, resources for volunteer initiatives, global partners and interviewees, production of live meetings & events, and everything that makes this movement move. It wouldn’t be possible without you. Everything you give gives back to you, your community, and our world.
