Crow’s Eye Productions is making a series of films on the history of dress. The purpose of each film is to explain the layers of clothing of different periods of English history, from Viking through to WWII, to open a window on the past. It’s a long term project with the aim of releasing a new short film every two months. They specialize in costume dramas, and are based in Lincolnshire. They pay cast and crew, and for the use of locations, and commission the making of goods and props, and the creation of the musical score for each film. This series is entirely self-funded by them.
