DOCUMERICA.org is Charles O’Rear, DOCUMERICA photographer, who is also the goal of this site. Their goal is to restore all 22,000 of the DOCUMERICA photographs, removing the scratches, dust and marks, as well as rebalancing the colors and the contrast, and restoring the photographs to close to their original state. They can also use AI to upscale the photographs revealing previously hidden details. All the restored DOCUMERICA photographs will be free to download in high-resolution on DOCUMERICA.org. As well as the photographs themselves, DOCUMERICA.org will also give the history of the project, together with information about the 115 DOCUMERICA photographers, and the restoration process.
