Mary Cagle (also known as Cube Watermelon) is a comic artist and illustrator whose current projects include Sleepless Domain and Kiwi Blitz. Sleepless Domain is a comic about an isolated city in the middle of a dangerous world filled with monsters. During the day, the city is perfectly safe. At night, however, the populace locks themselves inside as the city streets fill with monsters. The only ones who can combat these creatures are very special girls with the power to transform into Magical Girls! Kiwi Blitz is long form webcomic that chronicles the adventures of a couple of teenagers’ attempts to fight crime in the not-too-distant future. Imagine an American superhero cartoon mixed with a Japanese mecha anime. She also created Let’s Speak English, a comic about her adventures teaching English in Japan.
