Queer Diagnosis is made up of a team of 3 working college students who interview LGBTQ+ folx about their experience in and with the medical field in their free time. They created this podcast with the goal of increasing awareness of these individuals for those who are inexperienced with these topics as well as those who are searching for a greater understanding of their community. For their newest season, they have created merchandise, bought new mics, and arranged new music to improve the listening experience. They plan to expand the scope of their project, interviewing new guests from different regions and backgrounds. This, however, isn’t easy and takes time to get connected with individuals willing to give interviews, especially given the inherent risks of speaking on their experiences in the current climate.
