Samantha Mayotte is writing all sorts of things, but they’re most comfortable within the genres of dark fantasy and horror. The majority of their writing throughout the years has taken place in the universe of Cemetery Falls – a nickname for a town with a government-imposed curfew and more than a few skeletons in its proverbial closet. Sam has had their work adapted for audio on podcasts The Wicked Library, The Grey Rooms, and they’ve been invited to contribute a story to season 5 of Victoria’s Lift. Sam has also been published in a handful of horror anthologies. Sam is currently working on a collection of short stories set to be released in 2022, and a horror retelling of the Bluebeard fairy tale.
