SAS_Art is Steve. Steve has been dabbling in comic art and stories for over 30 years. Steve draws images and sequences often centered on a beauty is the beast theme, with plenty of other nerd culture staples–monsters, robots, aliens, and costumed crime fighting heroines and heroes. The best example of this is Steve’s OC Liz Walker, aka She-Wolf, the Canine Crusader, a shy but clever young woman who, upon discovering she’s become a werewolf defies tradition and uses her monstrous abilities to fight crime, surprising family, friends, criminals, terrorists, supervillains–and the werewolf who bit her. Steve likes humor, drama, and action, and Steve tries to put some blend of each of those things in Steve’s work. “Beauty is the beast” is only half the equation–“comics should be fun” is the other. Steve is starting this page because while Steve has been drawing and sharing art online for years, Steve has not been able to do as much with it as Steve would like. Having started on Yahoo Clubs and groups through Deviant Art, Tumblr, Facebook and Instagram, this seems like a logical next step. Steve is drawing now more than ever, but having this page will bring some focus to what Steve does. Steve is hoping to accomplish A) pay for some of the expenses of Steve’s art–subscription fees for platforms and software, and saving up for new hardware, B) have some more funds to give to support other creators on Patreon Steve enjoys–pay it forward, so to speak, and C) supplement the income from Steve’s day job to provide more security for Steve and Steve’s wife, and hopefully–long term, provide more financial stability that could in turn lead to more art! Steve asks you to take a look around. Steve hopes you’ll like what you see and decide it’s worth a dollar or five to see more.
