The Gentlemen of Leisure are devoted to turning their insightful, witty & inclusive eyes on various facets of pop culture, from comic books to movies to television to books and more. At the moment, this principally comes in the form of “X-aminations”, thrice-weekly reviews of every issue in Marvel Comics’ expansive line of X-Men comic books, and “Force in Focus”, semi-regular reviews of various Star Wars stories (including reviews of The Mandalorian). Other series include “Retro Reviews” of old Simpsons episodes and as well as reviews of shows like Lost, The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones and more. Patrons of the site will also receive exclusive access to a regular Patreon-first review series (rotating through various X-Men-adjacent series like X-Men 2099, The Champions, and the 1990s animated series), as well as occasional Patron-only single reviews.
