Thriller Teller is a storyteller who spends countless hours with hard work and dedication to create animated horror stories and short films. They are thankful for YouTube ads which generate little income but it is not enough to sustain themselves financially. Animation requires a TREMENDOUS amount of working hours, mostly WEEKS to be able to make 1 per 1000 views in Ad revenue. As their channel viewers engagement is low, it does not comply with YouTubes ‘standards’, so it’s hard to generate money to make a comfortable living wage solely based on Youtubes revenue. They truely believe in quality in producing their work and they have no intentions to produce just for the views to make money, they feel that is unethical. Moreover, many of their videos have been demonetized by YouTube since the theme of their work is based around horror genre that YouTubes algorithm picks up as violence. There is no freedom of expression for them horror content creators on YouTube anymore with so many restrictions. It is SAD to see that YouTube is becoming so commercialised rather than encouraging individuality in artistic expression. They desire to keep their artistic expression to create horror animations without having to worry about changing content based on YouTube’s rules. And for that, they need their support!
