TWILIGHT SIREN is Kat, the designer and creator of Twilight Siren and Laced:Unlaced. Corsetry is their passion. They have been making and studying corsets for 14 years. From the moment they completed their first corset, running their own company became their lifelong goal. So Twilight Siren: Luxury Lingerie was born – a fusion of contemporary corsets with historical techniques. When they are not sewing, they will spend most evenings delving into the history of fashion and corsetry. Over the years they have visited numerous archives and collected a tremendous amount of knowledge from the garments housed there. Patents and extant garments are a constant source of inspiration in their design process. They also have their own personal collection of vintage corsets, which they often refer to for patterns and construction techniques, or to just nerd out for a while.
