We Be Imagining: The We Be Imagining Podcast began by examining the intersection of race, big tech data, surveillance, child welfare and disability, and gender in the COVID-19 era. Episode themes grapple with emergent policies in these areas and include discussions surrounding negligent exposure to COVID-19 in underserved populations such as on Rikers Island, for example. Season 2 has continued to center that mission while expanding in scope to include episodes on agroecology in the global south, immunology and climate change. The podcast is a project stream of We Be Imagining, a nascent public technology project at Columbia Universitys The American Assembly and INCITE Center.
