Yas Petit Poulet is a Lebanese-Belgian queer artist based in Montreal, QC. Their work focuses mostly on queerness and exploring queer identities through the lens of science, and also mental health. They LOVE digital art, but they’re always keen on exploring other forms of art (painting, collage, sculpting clay). At first, they created Yas Petit Poulet as a handle for their Instagram, then it became so much more. It became a pen name for their art career, the Queer Chemistry project, their writing… As a gender non-conforming person of color living with both invisible disability and chronic pain, they care about inclusivity, accessibility, and anti-capitalism. These are the core values of their work. Yas Petit Poulet is their full-time occupation, as it allows them to allocate enough time to take care of their health.
